Ingredients
All purpose flour, 1 cup
Sugar, ½ cup
Baking powder, ½ tsp
Baking soda, ⅛ tsp
Thick yogurt, ½ cup
Vegetable oil, ¼ cup
Egg, 1 large
Vanilla essence, ¾ tsp
Grated lemon zest, 1 tsp
Lemon juice, 1 tbspn
Pinch of salt
Icing sugar, 4 tbspns (for the glaze)
Lime juice, 2 tbspns (for the glaze)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180 degree Celsius.
Add flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda & salt to a bowl and mix well.
Now add yogurt, oil, lemon zest and juice, egg, and vanilla essence to the dry ingredients and mix well.
Pour into a greased pan and bake for 30 minutes or until done.
Cool the cake and remove it from the pan.
Combine the icing sugar and lime juice well to make the lemon glaze. Add more sugar or juice to get the desired consistency.
Pour the glaze on top of the cake. It will drizzle on all sides
