Cauliflower Manchurian

Serves: 3-4
- Cauliflower, 1 medium sized
- Baking powder, 2 tsp
- Chilli powder, 2 tsp
- Ajinomotto, 2 tsp
- Cornflour/Corn starch, 3 tbspn
- All Purpose Flour, 3 tbspn
- Milk as required
- Salt to taste
- Green chillies, 1 no.
- Garlic, 5 cloves
- Vinegar, 3 tsps
- Soya sauce, 3 tsps
- Tomato sauce, 5 tsps
- Sugar, 1.5 tsps
- Water, 6 tbspns
- Cut cauliflower into medium sized florets and cook it in salt water.
- Make a thick batter baking powder, chilli powder, ajinomotto, corn starch, flour and milk.
- Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
- Dip the cauliflower in the batter, roll it in bread crumbs and deep fry it in oil till golden brown.
- Keep the fried cauliflowers aside.
- Mix vinegar, soya sauce, tomato sauce, sugar and water in a container.
- Grind the green chillies and garlic and keep aside.
- Add a tsp of oil in a pan and fry the ground chilli garlic.
- Add the sauce mixture to this and allow it to boil.
- To this add the fried cauliflower and stir till it soaks up all the sauce.
- Serve hot!
