  • 1.5 cups cold milk
  • 4 tablespoons+ 2 teaspoons rose syrup/rooh afza
  • 1 tablespoon sabja seeds/basil seeds
  • Small handful of vermicelli
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped apple
  • 1 packet Strawberry Jelly
  • 2 tablespoons +2 teaspoons tutti frutti
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice-cream
  1. Keep aside 2 tall glasses for the falooda.
  2. Soak sabja seeds in 2 cups of water for 20 minutes. The seeds will swell. Drain the water and keep the seeds aside.
  3. Make strawberry jelly as per instructions in the packet and keep it in the refrigerator to cool.
  4. Cook the vermicelli in boiling water. Once done drain the vermicelli and keep it aside.
  5. Make the rose milk by mixing 2 tablespoons of rose syrup/rooh-afza and sugar with the chilled milk. Keep it aside
  6. Pour 1 tablespoon of rose syrup of root-afza in the base of each glass.
  7. Add 1 tablespoon of the sabja seeds on top the rose syrup.
  8. Top this with 2 tablespoons of strawberry jelly.
  9. The cut fruits can be layered on top of the jelly followed by the vermicelli.
  10. tablespoon of almonds & cashews and 1 tablespoon of tutti fruity can be layered on top of this.
  11. Top this with 1 tablespoon of sabja seeds.
  12. Now pour the chilled rose milk equally in both the glasses.
  13. Add one scoop of ice cream in each glass.
  14. Garnish with tutti frutti, almonds & cashews and rose syrup.
  15. Serve cold!
