Ingredients
  • Eggs, 2
  • Cocoa, ½ cup
  • Butter, ½ cup
  • Flour, 2 cups
  • Curds, ½ cup
  • Vanilla Essence, 1 tsp
  • Baking Soda, ¾ tsp
  • Sugar, 2 cups
  • Hot water (to give the batter a dropping consistency. I used ½ cup)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven at 180C.
  2. Grease an 8" pan and keep aside.
  3. Add all the ingredients in a bowl in the same order as mentioned above.
  4. Beat it on low speed with an electric mixer or by hand until combined.
  5. Do not overbeat it.
  6. Transfer the batter onto the pan and bake for 30 minutes or until done.
  7. Cool on a wire rack
  8. Serve!
