Mint & Coriander Chutney

- Mint leaves, 2 big bunches (4-5 large handsful of mint leaves)
- Coriander leaves, ½ a big bunch (50 stalks)
- Ginger, 1 inch piece
- Roasted gram dhall, 1 tbspn
- Green chillies, 2-3
- Lime juice from ½ a lime
- Sugar, ½ tsp
- Water,1/2 to 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Place all the ingredients in a food processor/mixer.
- Blend well till it becomes a nice thick paste.
- Add/reduce water to get the consistency that you desire.
- Store in the refrigerator and use within 2 days.
Can be substituted with 2 tbspns of yogurt
The number of green chillies can be adjusted according to your taste.
