MINT & CORIANDER CHUTNEY

Mint & Coriander chutney is a flavorful dip which is served alongside indian snacks & starters like samosas, dhokla, paneer/chicken tikka and is also used to make several north indian chaat items.

Ingredients
  • Mint leaves, 2 big bunches (4-5 large handsful of mint leaves)
  • Coriander leaves, ½ a big bunch (50 stalks)
  • Ginger, 1 inch piece
  • Roasted gram dhall, 1 tbspn
  • Green chillies, 2-3
  • Lime juice from ½ a lime
  • Sugar, ½ tsp
  • Water,1/2 to 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Place all the ingredients in a food processor/mixer.
  2. Blend well till it becomes a nice thick paste.
  3. Add/reduce water to get the consistency that you desire.
  4. Store in the refrigerator and use within 2 days.
Notes
Can be substituted with 2 tbspns of yogurt
The number of green chillies can be adjusted according to your taste.
