Infamous for its sweltering heat, the weather is now the hot topic for all chennaites these days with the temperature soaring high. Cooking has become an arduous task and all i seem to be wanting to do is plonk myself in front of the air conditioner and drink jugsful of anything cold.
Summer Delight - Pumpkin Smoothie

Ingredients
- 1 cup yellow pumpkin, chopped
- 1 cup milk
- 1.5 tbspns sugar
- 1 cardamom, depodded
Instructions
- Cook the pumpkin pieces by microwaving it for five minutes. [You can also cook the pumpkin on stove].
- Place the cooked pumpkin in a blender along with milk, sugar and cardomom powder.
- Blend well.
- Serve chilled!!
